I noticed that my automatic shifter was sorta wobbly. It had a lot of free play back and forth and left and right. This was caused buy a completely disintegrated bushing in the shifter. Luckily these are very cheap and not to hard to fix. Once I got it all back together it felt beautiful. I lost the pictures for this so you will have to rely on my vague descriptions until I do it again, sorry.

Materials:   2 Bushings(90385-11003)
    White Lithium Grease


Instructions
1. Remove the center console trim panel.
2. Remove the center arm-rest section.
2. Use a 10mm socket and remove the 4 bolts holding the gear shifter down.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Pull the shifter up till you can see the linkage underneath.
5. Tie a wire through the linkage loop, so it doesn't fall, then use a 12mm wrench and remove the bolt.
6. Pull it all out.
7. To remove the rubber boot thing first push out the metal cylinders in the center then push the rubber through the metal frame. As you can see when I took my boot off the disintegrated remains of my old bushing.
8. Loosen the bolt pull out the pin. Push the shifter down till you can slip the the bushings out.
9. Clean the shifter tube and everything really well.
10. Coat the inside of the tube and the bolt with lithium grease as well as the outside edge of the bushings.
11. Realign the tube with the holes and place the bolt through. As you insert it spin it so the grease is spread evenly. After the bolt is through wipe off the excess grease.
12. Now place the new lock washer on the end of the bolt and tighten the nut.
13. Put the rubber boot back on and put the four small cylinders back through the holes.
14. Place the whole thing back in the car line it up in the clean spot and tighten the nut.
15. Reconnect the electrical connector.
16. Replace the 4 10mm bolts holding the gear shifter down and test that it shifts cleanly through the full range.
17. Replace the center arm-rest section.
18. Replace the center console trim panel.
