After years and years my washer reservoir built up a bunch of mold that ended up clogging the motor filters. So I decided to pull the whole thing and replace the motors and clean the reservoir. This tech tip is a bit weak because I discovered it uncompleted about 4 years after I did it. So I hope the pictures can at least provide some assistants.

Tools: Basic wrenches and screwdrivers
     
Materials:   Front Washer Motor (85330-0020)
    Rear Washer Motor (85310-16080)


Instructions
1. Remove Wheel
2. Remove Fender Cover
3. Remove Air Box/Air Filter
4. Remove pumps and hoses
The reservoir is attached by various bolts. You can use the picture on the right to see where they are located. After they are removed and the hoses and wires are detached the reservoir should slide right out.
5. Clean
Mine was quite nasty with mold build up, so give it a very good cleaning, including the screens for the motors.
6. Assemble the pumps, rubbers and filter
7. Press Rubbers in
8. Press Pumps in
9. Attach vacuum hoses and route
10. Reinstall the reservoir and test before putting the rest of the parts back in.
11. Reinstall fender cover, air box and filter and wheel.
